Inspired by Hypatia of Alexandria, philosopher, mathematician, and astronomer, these earrings pay tribute to one of the great female figures of free thought.

The ellipse, the piece's central shape, refers to the conic sections that Hypatia studied through the treatises of Apollonius. Its smooth, elongated curve evokes the trajectory of the planets, gazing at the sky, and the harmony between science and beauty.

The pearl, suspended in balance, symbolizes the female wisdom cultivated in silence. A serene inner light that shines brightly.

HOW IT'S MADE

Each piece is individually handcrafted in my small workshop in Badajoz (Extremadura, Spain), using the most traditional jewelry techniques. Care and patience are essential at every step of the process. All pieces are made to order, ensuring that each one is unique and of the highest quality. This approach also promotes an ethical production process and avoids mass production.
