MY STORY

Hi! I'm Cati, designer and artisan behind Azzurea, a handcrafted jewelry brand born from my passion for creativity and handmade details.

I grew up surrounded by artistic inspiration: my mother, a seamstress, and my father, a blacksmith, taught me the value of creating with one's hands. Their example awakened in me a love for materials and the dedication I now apply to every piece.

FROM INSPIRATION TO CREATION

My fascination with jewelry began with my grandmother's jewelry box, where I would spend hours exploring the shapes, colors, and magic of the small details of each piece.

This interest in details and forms evolved over the years, leading me to study Industrial Design Engineering and Product Development. Later, I decided to specialize with a Postgraduate degree in Jewelry Design at the IED in Madrid, where I honed my technique and learned about design and manufacturing processes.

THE ART OF CREATING WITH YOUR HANDS

Although my initial idea was to design collections and delegate their manufacturing to specialized companies, during my studies I discovered that my true passion was to create the pieces with my own hands.

I love the idea that something born in my mind can be transformed into a unique and special piece of jewelry that someone else can wear and treasure for a long time.

A DREAM MADE INTO JEWELRY

In 2018, I founded Azzurea and opened my own workshop, a project that has grown thanks to constant learning, hard work, and the support of my family.

Since then, I have worked to bring to life pieces that combine creativity, precision, and the art of handmade.

DESIGNS THAT SPEAK ABOUT YOU

Each piece I design is born from the fusion of modern, minimalist design and traditional handcrafted jewelry techniques. I believe in the power of design to convey stories and how an original piece of jewelry can become a reflection of your style and personality.

My goal is to create unique, timeless, and meaningful collections, and to make Azzurea a space where design and craftsmanship meet. I dream of each piece being a treasure, as special to the one who wears it as it is to me.

THE FURRY HEART OF AZZUREA

In 2022, my life changed with the arrival of Keko, my faithful companion and workshop helper. We spend many hours together while I design and create, and he is always there, providing company and joy with his presence.

To me, Keko is a fundamental member of Azzurea. His mischief, his energy, and that gaze that always accompanies me in my moments of creativity make my day-to-day much more special. He is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful things that has happened to me.
